In October 2021, after a long season of ups and downs regarding the situation that the Dominican Republic and the world was experiencing in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, a team of specialists traveled from the United States to the Dominican Republic to offer their help. An open operation was organized in the provinces of San Pedro and Hato Mayor where anyone with hearing impairment could participate. A total of 193 hearing aids were delivered to a total of 125 people.
