The supermarket chain Carrefour held the tenth edition of its traditional Carrefour 10k race on Sunday, April 28, 2024, starting at 7:00 a.m.
The starting point was Downtown Center, located at Avenida Núñez de Cáceres on the corner of Rómulo Betancourt. The race followed the established route to kilometer 5 of Parque Mirador Sur, where runners completed the 10 kilometers.
This sporting event was held in support of Fundación Amigos contra el Cáncer Infantil (FACCI) and Fundación Oír para Vivir.
Each of these organizations received 1,000,000 Dominican pesos to continue working on behalf of their beneficiaries.
